Word Fest Conference Day 2 [Lunch Hour] – Prayer that unlock destinies

Word Fest Conference – Day 2 (Lunch Hour Session)
Message: Prayer That Unlocks Destinies
Speaker: Pastor Charles Mutua
Scripture: Ephesians 6:18; Acts 9:10–17; Acts 13:1–4

🔑 Key Message
At the moment Saul’s life changed, the Bible highlights one important detail—he was praying. Though Saul appeared successful and highly favoured in his career, he was far from God’s divine plan for his life. Prayer became the turning point that aligned him to his destiny.

📌 Understanding Destiny
• Destiny is God’s roadmap—the reason you were born and the assignment Heaven has for you.
• Saul was committed, zealous, and religious, yet completely misaligned with God’s purpose.
• Many Christians today are also busy and successful, but not necessarily aligned to their divine destiny.

📖 How Prayer Unlocked Saul’s Destiny
• While Saul was praying, God revealed his future and divine calling.
• Ananias also received God’s instruction—likely in a moment of prayer.
• Despite Saul’s past as a persecutor, Ananias called him “brother” because he now saw him through the lens of destiny.
• Through prayer, Saul was transformed into Paul—the man who would write two-thirds of the New Testament.

📖 Destiny Clarification Through Prayer (Acts 13:1–4)
• At the Antioch church, believers were praying and fasting—not seeking their own needs but ministering to God.
• During this atmosphere of worship and surrender, the Holy Spirit confirmed the destinies of Paul and Barnabas.
• Even after the revelation, the church continued to pray for them before sending them out.

🙏 The Prayer That Unlocks Destinies
• It is the prayer that ministers to God—not just asking for personal needs.
• It seeks to know God’s will: “Lord, what do You want with my life?”
• It goes beyond asking from God to asking God Himself what He desires.

💬 Reflection Questions
• Are you sure your current path is aligned with your divine destiny?
• Do your prayers focus only on needs, or do they also seek God’s will and purpose?
